THE PRODUCT
What is in the bag.
What is actually in these?+
Only organic ingredients. No added sugar. No preservatives. No proprietary blends.
The mushroom side is where most brands go quiet, so ours is printed on the label: Lion's Mane 30% Beta Glucans, Lion's Mane Mycelium 2% Erinacines, and Cordyceps Militaris 1% Cordycepin, alongside unextracted Lion's Mane and Cordyceps powders.
If you read labels, check ours against our spec sheets. That is the test we want to be held to.
Will these make me see things?+
No. There is nothing hallucinogenic here.
Lion's Mane and Cordyceps are functional mushrooms, the kind sitting on the shelf at Whole Foods and Natural Grocers. We use high potency extracts of both. Different family, different purpose, nothing psychoactive.
How many do I take, and how long does a bag last?+
Two bites a day. One bag holds 14 servings, so a bag is two weeks and the 2-pack is a full 28 days.
Take them whenever you will actually remember. Most people land on morning or early afternoon, ahead of the window where energy usually dips. There is no loading phase and no schedule to follow.
That sizing is deliberate. Small enough to repeat, and paced so a subscription arrives about the time you run out.
Do they work with dietary restrictions?+
They are vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free.
They are not free of tree nuts. If you have a nut allergy, or anything else you need to watch, read the full ingredient list on the product page before you order.
How do I store them, and how long do they keep?+
Unopened, they keep for 7 months at room temperature.
Once the bag is open, you have six weeks or more at room temperature while they are at their freshest. The fridge stretches that, and the freezer stretches it further if you are pacing yourself.
Cool and dry is all they really ask for. No preservatives is the reason we can say that plainly.
What will I actually feel?+
This is food, not a switch. Most people describe steadier energy through the afternoon and a clearer head, and most notice it as the absence of a slump rather than a lift.
It is also the part we can promise least, because it is subjective and bodies differ. That is exactly what the 28 day guarantee is for. Take them daily for 28 days and decide for yourself.
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Can I take these with medication, or while pregnant or nursing?+
Ask your doctor. We mean that literally.
Functional mushrooms are food, but we do not know your history, your prescriptions, or your situation, and the company selling you something is the wrong place to get that answer. Take the ingredient list to whoever handles your care and let them make the call.
ORDERS & SUBSCRIPTION
Price, cadence, and how to leave.
How does the subscription work, and can I cancel?+
The 2-pack ships every 28 days, which is exactly how long two bags last at two bites a day. Your first order is $49.98, then $64 every 28 days after that. Shipping is always free on the 2-pack.
The 1-pack ships every 14 days at $37.99 plus shipping.
Pause or cancel anytime from your account. No forms, no phone calls, no retention offers. If you want to cancel, you cancel.
What if I just want to try it once?+
Order a single time, no subscription attached.
The 2-pack is $66.99 on a first order and $88 after that, shipping included. The 1-pack is $37.99 on a first order and $44 after that, plus shipping.
Subscribing is cheaper, but we would rather you tried it first than felt locked in.
What does the 28 day guarantee cover?+
Take two bites every day for 28 days. If you do not feel clearer and more energized, we refund you.
28 days is not an arbitrary number. It is how long the 2-pack lasts, and it is about how long a daily habit needs before it stops feeling like effort. The bar is honest: a routine you actually repeated.
Do you offer discounts or samples?+
Subscribing is the standing discount, and it is the one we would point you to first, since it is priced for the habit rather than the trial.
Beyond that, the email list is where offers land first. Sign up in the footer.
SHIPPING & RETURNS
Getting it, and sending it back.
Where do you ship, and how long does it take?+
Anywhere in the United States. Most orders arrive in 2 to 7 business days, averaging about 3.
What does shipping cost?+
Free on every 2-pack, whether you subscribe or order once.
On the 1-pack, shipping is calculated at checkout based on where it is headed.
What is your return policy?+
Unopened bags can come back within 10 days of your order. Return shipping is on you. Once it reaches us and we have checked it, we issue the refund.

What if I open a bag and just do not like them?+
We refund you. No questions.
One piece of common sense attached. If you order ten bags at once, we would expect anyone to work out after the first two that it is not for them, so we refund the first two opened bags and cover return shipping on the rest if they come back unopened.
That is the whole policy. Consider it a handshake.
What is the carbon footprint of shipping?+
Zero on anything that ships direct from us. We use Sendle, which is 100% carbon neutral.
Those are offsets rather than magic, and we would rather say so than dress it up. It is a start, not a finish line.
THE COMPANY
Who is behind this.
Why did ODD BALLS become Sporeticus?+
Same company, same founder, same standards. New name.
ODD BALLS did its job. It broke the ice around a cancer nobody wants to talk about, and it got us here. Somewhere between the first bag and now, the mission outgrew the punchline, so we gave the brand a name built to carry it.
Spore, where life begins. Ticus, the Latin ending used to name living things. The longer version is on our About page.
Why does this company exist?+
Our founder was diagnosed with stage 3 testicular cancer at 30. He went through treatment doing everything right, stacking supplements and powders on top of chemo, and then watched the entire routine collapse the moment the stakes dropped. What was left was a cabinet of half used bottles.
That collapse is the thing this company was built around. It was never about discipline. It was the format.
The full story is on the About page. And if you have an odd lump or bump, please tell someone about it.
Where does the give-back go?+
A portion of every purchase supports nonprofits serving young adults impacted by cancer. Permanent, not seasonal, and not tied to one month on the calendar.
Current partners include First Descents, the Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation, Send It Foundation, Survivor Wellness, Alta Community Enrichment, and Project Koru.
See the whole picture on our give-back section, or browse the resources we have gathered for thrivers and the people caring for them.
What are you doing to be a responsible company?+
Packaging is post-consumer recycled. Shipping from HQ runs through Sendle, which is 100% carbon neutral. Sample shipments go out in biodegradable mailers.
None of that is remarkable, and we are not going to dress it up as if it were. It is the floor. We will keep finding more as the company grows and the responsibility grows with it.
Where else can I buy them?+
Ordering here is the most direct, and it is the only place the full range lives. The original ODD BALLS energy balls are still here too.
We are also on the shelf at a handful of shops around Utah. If you are local and want to know which ones, reach out and we will send you the current list.
